G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Management Senior Specialist (USAF & USN Platform Representative) to assist the DoD Program Office in the management of the capability project portfolio in support of a DoD program.

Responsibilities:

  • Support various projects to include performing professional or technical logistics work
  • Ability to operate which could include but not limited to, flying or managing operational networks.
  • Coordinate issues and reporting findings to senior leadership
  • Ability to communicate effectively with USAF/Navy organizations to understand organizations interests and program requirements
  • Manage tracking of deliveries of products to the USAF/Navy and coordinating returns for repairs, retrofits and status of products
  • Gather technical information, calculating, analyzing data and presenting information/findings to senior leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or a High School Diploma with at least fifteen (15) years of relevant military experience
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in managing logistics programs working in a min of 7 of the Logistics Elements or 15+ years of relevant military experience or combined twelve (12) years of USAF/USN experience in two or more of the following: program execution oversight: analytical and problem solving related to logistical issues: software defined radio or similar; min four (4) years of experience with USAF/USN Logistics and Acquisition process
  • Must have operator experience, which could include but is not limited to flying or managing operational networks
  • Defense Acquisition University Level III or equivalent certifications, a plus
  • Working knowledge of United States Air Force/Navy Logistics and Acquisition processes to include knowledge of the related United States Air Force acquisition and sustainment organizations, commands and units
  • In depth understanding of United States Air Force/Navy aviation platforms, aviation avionics, electronics and communication equipment acquisition, sustainment and logistics for United States Air Force platforms
  • Knowledge and understanding of the United States Air Force/Navy supply system, maintenance concepts, and sustainment procedures for radios or avionics
  • Experience in collaborating and coordinating with United States Air Force/Navy Platforms to ensure understanding and support of ILS requirements, logistics support plans
  • Experience in coordinating and communicating program requirements between a program office and military agencies
  • Understanding of reliability, maintainability, and logistics requirements documented in U.S. Code Title 10, DoDI 5000.02, DoDD 5000.01, and NAVINST 5000.2

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.

Location:

This is a full-time hybrid position. The workforce is required to report physically to the Client office located in San Diego, CA three times a week. Additional days at the office may be required from time to time as required to support the workload or client s request. Travel <10%

Compensation:

The pay range for this position in California is $140,000/year to $200,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. Base pay information is based on market location.
