Pre-Sales AI Engineer/Solutions Architect

Must have Manufacturing experience

This is NOT heavy infrastructure

Customer Facing

Must be able to build custom AI applications

Must be technical

We're looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to help customers understand the value of company for their business outcomes.
Company helps organizations see more, know more and do more. It has tailored data platforms, assistants that turn insight into action and AI Agents that take care of the heavy lifting.
We have vertical focuses, and if you have a particular interest in Manufacturing, you'll be joining at the right time. We need someone to join our Commercial team who will work closely with sales, technical leaders and solution consultants, demonstrating the capabilities of the platform and creating a land-and-expand strategy across the US and Canada.
What the work looks like

You'll actively participate in early conversations with customers to conduct discovery and help them understand what's possible, where company fits and how it will integrate with their existing tech stack (no need for dramatic overhauls).

You'll map their business processes to our product features, and build clear, believable stories around the impact company can have.

You'll tailor demos, proofs of concept and proposals to different types of customer roles: C level, Ops teams, Data leaders, and digital transformation teams.

You'll be the go-to person for technical details: how company connects, where it sits, how it reads and interprets data, and how its automation layer drives decisions.

You'll feed customer insight back into the product and delivery teams to help shape how we evolve, package and present the platform.
What you'll need

Experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting or product engineering, ideally for enterprise platforms or SaaS tools.

AI application development experience and working knowledge of the technology stack.

Competitive knowledge of AI providers, tools, and related ecosystem technologies.

A solid understanding of enterprise IT environments: integrations, data flows, APIs, cloud infrastructure and common business applications.

A sharp, analytical mindset to be able to connect the dots between business need and technical solution.

Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas for different audiences.

Confidence delivering technical presentations, live demos and handling in the moment questions.

Curiosity and a bit of obsession with good product thinking: how something works, why it matters and how it could be better.
Why you'll love this

You'll work on AI solutions that genuinely helps customers accomplish their goals to make money, save money, and reduce risk. DataQI is solving real, messy problems in smart, elegant ways, without forcing companies to change everything first.

You'll have influence on how we shape customer conversations, how we build our pitch and how the product evolves.

You'll be part of a team that trusts you to think critically, ask good questions and take ownership of your work.
Essential Qualifications

Proven ability to position and architect solutions involving AI/ML for industrial applications (e.g., predictive maintenance, digital twins, anomaly detection, quality inspection).
