Job Title: Oracle EBS PL/SQL Developer
Location: Roseland, NJ , HYBRID
Duration: 12 months
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS PL/SQL Developer to join an agile development team in a fast-paced Oracle E-Business Suite environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing custom Oracle EBS components. This role requires close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, a strong focus on performance tuning, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL code and custom Oracle EBS technical components.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Optimize SQL queries using performance tuning techniques including explain plans, indexes, optimizer hints, and SQL profiles.
  • Write high-performing SQL using Oracle Analytical Functions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprints, retrospectives).
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and promote coding best practices within the team.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and customizations.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong PL/SQL and SQL development experience in an Oracle EBS environment.
  • Proven expertise in SQL performance tuning (Explain Plans, Indexing, SQL Profiles, etc.).
  • Experience using Oracle Analytical Functions to develop efficient queries.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle EBS modules and architecture.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) APIs.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Concurrent Manager, including concurrent programs, request sets, and setup.
  • Exposure to Oracle CRM components such as Resources, Roles, Groups, and related database tables.
  • Understanding of Oracle SOA Gateway, REST/SOAP architecture, and JSON data structures.
  • Experience with Bitbucket, Rally, and STAT for version control and code migration.
  • Agile development experience using features, user stories, and sprint methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS development experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
