Sr. Business Analyst - Collection Systems

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team and lead the setup of the payments section in the front end, integrating it with our back end systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience running functional collection streams and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously. This role requires gathering requirements, testing, ensuring operational readiness, and overseeing procedure rollouts from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the setup of payments section in the front end and integrate it with back end systems
Manage and run multiple functional collection workstreams, including payments, collections, ACH, PCI compliance, data transmission, and cyber concerns
Gather requirements, validate unit testing, and ensure test scripts are written effectively
Document business requirements and ensure alignment with operational needs
Utilize expertise in collections and recovery to contribute to platform enhancements
Collaborate with test managers to ensure testing procedures are comprehensive and effective
Interface with end users to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into system design
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as credit reporting, tax reporting, and GL integrations
Familiarity with banking landscape and experience with collections and recovery, specifically with debt manager platforms
Requirements:
Proven experience in consumer banking and as a Business Analyst
Strong understanding of collection systems and recovery processes
Experience with BRD documentation and validation of test scripts
Familiarity with CGI tax and credit systems is a plus
Knowledge of payment entry modules, ACH processing, PCI compliance, and data transformation
Experience with integration testing, UAT testing, and project management
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
