Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on testing stXXgy, test plans, tool selection, and resource identification for testing efforts.
  • Plan and organize testing for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including systems integration, specialized testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases across system components.
  • CollaboXX with testing leads, IT leads, and project teams during analysis, design, development, implementation, and ongoing support.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in planning and organizing testing efforts for GUI and non-GUI systems.
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing and participating in UAT activities.
  • Experience executing functional, non-functional, and systems-level integration tests.
  • Proven experience coding automated test scripts to create sets of automated test cases.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in structured methodologies for application development and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with CASE tools, data query tools, automated test tools, and version control systems.
  • Experience in quality assurance including unit, integration, load, and performance testing.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience creating testing strategy documentation, test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Expertise in accessibility testing, including automated, manual, and assistive techniques.
  • Knowledge of AODA, IASR, and WCAG 2.0/2.1 level A and AA standards.
Should Have:
  • Experience with one or more programming languages.
  • Familiarity with testing COTS (Commercial Off-the-Candidatelf) applications.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented testing environments and Information Candidateagement practices.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, test plan walkthroughs, and static testing.
  • Knowledge of system operations such as user access, backup, recovery, and daily monitoring.
  • Experience supporting client teams in training and implementation data setup.
  • Experience with government business process applications like WebSphere, e-Forms, JDBC, or Business Objects Enterprise is an asset.
  • Qualification And Education:
  • Relevant education and/or certifications in software testing, computer science, or information systems are preferred.
