The Ecommerce QA Tester is responsible for executing manual and automated tests to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software products. This role focuses on hands-on testing, documenting results, and collaborating with developers and product teams to identify and resolve issues before release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing of new and existing software features to ensure products meet functional and design specifications.
• Test Case Management: Create, update, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test documentation.
• Defect Identification: Log, track, and retest defects using established QA tools and processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other team members to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
• Regression Testing: Participate in regular regression testing cycles to verify the stability of existing functionality.
• Test Environment Support: Assist with preparing and maintaining test environments and data.
• Quality Reporting: Communicate testing results and provide feedback on product quality, risks, and potential improvements.
• Automation Support (as applicable): Contribute to automation test suites and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright under the guidance of senior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of QA or software testing experience, preferably in an Agile development environment.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as M3, Configure Price Quote tools, or similar.
• Experience using test management and documentation tools (e.g., Freshservice, Adobe FrameMaker, Notion).
• Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
