Tech Product Manager
We are currently working on an Artist Centric data platform, which not only gives ability to understand the data from insights perspective, but also allows Artists to use predictive functionalities on the platform to analyze market trends and be able to action upon the outputs.
Core responsibilities include:
- Translate customer needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver features. Stakeholders is a keyword here as primary responsibility is to discuss it with stakeholders (our business teams) and understand their requirements
- Stay on top of technical trends, competitor analysis, and assess risks.
- Define and enhance current product vision, roadmap, and success metrics.
- Oversee product lifecycle including beta testing, documentation, and user training.
- Analyze product performance through data and feedback to guide improvements.
- Act as product advocate between technical teams and business units.
1. Product Strategy & Vision
- Continue enhancing the current product goals and aligned with business objectives
- Build and maintain current roadmap
- Analyze current music market trends and iteratively work with business teams to agree
the goals for next year
2. Requirements Gathering & Prioritization
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define business/technical requirements.
- Translate user needs into clear product specs or user stories.
- Prioritize features working across different business teams
- Create release mock-ups (using Figma, other tools, etc.) and communicate with
stakeholders on expectations
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between engineering, design, QA, and business teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
- Track project status and remove blockers.
4. Customer & User Feedback
- Collect and analyze user feedback, platform enhancements, support tickets, etc.
- Iterate product features based on feedback and analytics.
5. Metrics & KPIs
- Define and track product KPIs (engagement, retention, uptime, etc.).
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, internal dashboards, etc.
- Report on product performance and improvements.
