Position: Automation Test Engineer (Java + Selenium)
Location: Clevland, OH
Duration: Long Term
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation suites to ensure software quality across web and API layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Java + Selenium WebDriver
- Build and maintain automation frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Maven / Gradle)
- Execute test suites, analyze failures, and debug issues
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab / GitHub Actions)
- Perform web, API, regression, smoke, and integration testing
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify and prevent defects
- Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and metrics
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives)
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, OOPs, Collections)
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit
- Build tools: Maven/Gradle
- Version control: Git
- Experience with XPath/CSS selectors, page object model (POM)
- Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman, Rest Assured preferred)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins etc.)
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Knowledge of Docker, cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
- Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
- Basic SQL knowledge
