Job Description:
Pay Range: $52hr - $57hr
  • The SAP Data Migration Lead will oversee the end-to-end data migration workstream for large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • The role requires deep hands-on experience with SAP BODS, S/4HANA Cloud (RISE), and legacy ERP data sources.
  • This individual will define migration strategies, lead execution, validate data accuracy, and manage global delivery teams while collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 12+ years of experience in data migration.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BODS and S/4HANA Cloud (RISE) migrations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-system migration programs.
  • Strong expertise in S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (Required).
  • Experience with staging table based migration methods.

  • Hands-on understanding of core S/4HANA data objects such as:

    Business Partner.
  • Material.
  • BOM.
  • Hierarchies.
  • Additional migration objects as required.
  • Strong SQL skills, data profiling, and source system analysis.
  • Experience building data validation and reconciliation frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing and coordinating offshore delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of data governance and audit practices.
Experience:
  • Large-scale S/4HANA migration programs.
  • SAP BODS development and troubleshooting.
  • Data extraction, transformation, and loading from legacy ERPs.
  • Working with SQL-based legacy systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar platforms.
  • Designing and implementing data validation and reconciliation processes.
  • Leading global teams across onshore and offshore environments.
  • Collaborating with functional and technical teams to resolve migration issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end data migration strategy and execution for S/4HANA programs.
  • Oversee extraction, transformation, load, and validation activities.
  • Guide teams on using SAP Migration Cockpit and staging table processes.
  • Coordinate legacy system data mapping and profiling efforts.
  • Build and maintain reconciliation frameworks and validation reports.
  • Ensure data governance standards and audit controls are met.
  • Partner with IT, business stakeholders, and offshore teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight across migration tasks.
  • Deliver status reports and progress updates throughout the project.

  • Strong documentation and process management skills.
  • Exposure to large, global, enterprise environments.
