Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Makeready. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

This leader has the ability to see the big picture, direct and engage a team and proactively plan facilities work needed. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Engineering department to include the proper operation, maintenance and repair of all HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, life safety, electrical and mechanical equipment/systems. This leader also invests in their team to help grow future leaders. This leader is the representative of the building and should stride to be use his eye for detail to present useful arguments to continue to investment on the guest experience and asset improvement.

Requested Tasks:

-Lead, manage and hold engineering team accountable

-Effectively manage controllable expenses and engineering budget

-Develop an engineering operating strategy that is aligned with the property and brand business strategy

-Oversee execution of long-term preventative maintenance asset protection plans

-Co-chair the property's Safety Committee

Requested Capabilities:

-Prior experience required

-Keen eye for cost effectiveness measures

-Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

-Thorough understanding of the property and all related operational needs
