SAIC is hiring an IT Systems Integration Principle to work 100% remotely.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Defines discrete systems with processes to link together complex systems and components with software applications to perform as a coordinated whole. Has a broad range of skills and a breadth of knowledge in several IT disciplines including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem solving skills. May include analysis of transition planning, intelligence formation requirements, and may develop architecture baselines. Assists with and leads development of integration and migration plans/schedules. Acts as an advocate for internal and external clients as the ultimate authority on the architecture design to address client business problems. Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. Establishes and recommends changes to policies, which affect subordinate organization(s).
PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
FREEDOM TO ACT: Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective for desired results. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
IMPACT: Guides the successful completion of major programs. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives.
LIASON: Represents organization as prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and 9 years of relevant experience; Masters degree and 7 years of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Security Clearance:
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (ship required).
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in 911 call center operations, public safety communications, or emergency management.
- In-depth knowledge of PSAP functions, NG911 systems, and CAD platforms.
- Familiarity with VoIP technologies.
- Familiarity with ALI/ANI location databases.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations impacting emergency communications.
