Qualifications & Experience
- Lead the migration of observability tools to Dynatrace, including planning, execution, and validation.
- Replace legacy tools such as Splunk (for logging) and New Relic (for RUM/APM) with Dynatrace equivalents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices for monitoring, alerting, and telemetry.
- Configure Dynatrace features such as:
- Real User Monitoring (RUM)
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
- Logging on Grail
- AI-based anomaly detection
- SLO/Error Budget tracking
- Develop and maintain telemetry pipelines, dashboards, and alerting configurations.
- Integrate Dynatrace with third-party tools (e.g., GitHub, Harness, SonarQube).
- Establish governance frameworks and observability standards.
- Provide training and enablement to internal teams for long-term platform adoption.
- Proven experience in observability tool migrations and change management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native environments (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Dynatrace certifications (Associate, Professional, or higher) preferred.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).

Job Role: Dynatrace Migration Expert - Splunk
Location: (REMOTE 100%)
Duration: Long-term Contract
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end migration from Splunk to Dynatrace, including planning, execution, validation, and post-migration support.
- Analyze existing Splunk configurations, dashboards, alerts, and data ingestion pipelines to design equivalent or improved solutions in Dynatrace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, SRE, Application Owners) to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption.
- Implement observability best practices using Dynatrace's full-stack monitoring, log management, and AI-powered analytics.
- Develop and maintain documentation for migration processes, architecture, and operational procedures.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on Dynatrace usage and capabilities.
