Job Details
Vaco is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior IT Business Analyst to lead the gathering, design, testing, and delivery of data-centric solutions for one of our trusted partners. This position is part of a Global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence (BI) team and plays a key role in delivering actionable insights, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and promoting a collaborative, results-driven team culture. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical foundation in Data and BI, along with proven experience bridging the gap between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Collect and document business requirements from internal stakeholders.

Develop source-to-target mappings for data integration initiatives.

Design solution mock-ups and prototypes to communicate concepts effectively.

Validate and verify solutions to ensure alignment with business needs.

Support solution rollout by training end-users and offering ongoing assistance.

Serve as the main liaison for business stakeholders, resolving issues, managing expectations, and promoting effective collaboration.

Ensure all solutions align with established priorities, quality standards, and business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
We’re excited to find someone who brings the following to our team:

7+ years of experience in business analysis with a strong focus on data, BI, and data engineering projects.

Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and BI platforms such as Power BI.

Hands-on experience with data integration and source-to-target mapping.

Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Track record of driving initiatives that enhance collaboration and performance.

High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational abilities.

Enthusiasm for building intuitive, user-friendly interfaces to improve data accessibility.

Proactive in identifying and resolving design challenges with a focus on performance and quality.

Effective collaborator and communicator across technical and non-technical teams.

Committed to delivering accurate, visually cohesive, and thoroughly tested solutions.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Education & Training

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
