Job Details

Job Title: Field Network Engineer
Location: Dilley, TX and surrounding areas
Schedule: Shift work 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive to oilfield sites (up to 4–5 hours/day) to fix network issues

  • Install and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless access points, and industrial devices (ABB, Moxis, Proxim)

  • Set up VLANs, program switches and routers (Cisco gear)

  • Install virtual servers (VPS) and handle physical setup (some heavy lifting)

  • Work closely with the Field Communications team to keep sites connected

  • Use SD-LAN tools like OMP to manage site networks

  • Document your work and help improve network reliability

Qualifications:

  • Basic networking experience (Cisco preferred)

  • Comfortable working outdoors and driving long distances

  • Able to troubleshoot and fix network problems

  • CCNA is a plus, but not required

  • Good with tools and tech—hands-on and detail-oriented

  • Team player with strong communication skills
