Title: Sr. Appian Application Developer
Work Location: DFW Airport Headquarters, 2400 Aviation Dr, Euless, TX 75261 (on site)
Work Schedule: 8 am 5 pm, Monday - Friday
Contract: 1+ years. Must be Authorized to Work in the US for Any Employer.
Pay: $53/hr W2 (plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer with a strong background in business process management (BPM) application development and database design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Appian low-code platform development and solid experience working with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
Required Experience (7+ years):
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Appian BPM (version 19.x or higher preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Appian plug-ins, records, sites, process models, and SAIL UI design.
- Experience in database design and development, preferably Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL).
- Familiarity with integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs, Web Services).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with other databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of Java or other programming languages for Appian plug-in development.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
Required Education:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement solutions using the Appian BPM platform.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure smooth data integration with Oracle or other relational databases.
Configure Appian components such as records, reports, sites, process models, and interfaces.
Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Support deployment, documentation, and production maintenance.
Airport Special Requirements:
Must obtain an Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport s Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a badge upon each badge renewal.
