Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Technical School certification with relevant experience
- Fluent in English
- 3 4 years of professional IT support experience
Role Overview
Provide hands-on, onsite IT support to end users, delivering desk-side assistance for hardware, software, network, and collaboration tools. The role requires independent problem-solving, coordination with internal IT teams and vendors, and direct interaction with business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide desk-side and onsite IT support requiring physical intervention
- Troubleshoot PC hardware, software, LAN, printers, phones, and peripherals
- Support mobile device setup (MFA, Wi-Fi, email) and Cisco desk phones
- Install, upgrade, and configure PCs, factory systems, and software
- Assist with network connections, cabling, and hardware peripherals
- Support incident resolution by coordinating with internal IT teams and vendors
- Manage shared user accounts and factory PC deployments
- Maintain documentation, CMDB updates, and physical inventory tracking
- Provide ad-hoc end-user training and self-service guidance
- Support meeting rooms and collaboration areas
- Host and coordinate third-party technicians
- Monitor computer rooms (temperature, cabling, air conditioning)
- Manage device logistics and shipments across locations
- Follow IT governance, escalation paths, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles
- Identify and report risks impacting service quality
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in desktop and onsite IT support
- Working knowledge of hardware, networking, and user endpoint environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
