Job Details

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble sheet metal components by installing rivets, screws, and rivnuts.
  • This involves the use of various pneumatic and electric hand tools such as drill motors and screwdrivers.
  • Perform the insulation of components and assemblies.
  • Cut insulation then cover components and assemblies.
  • Wrap electrical cable assemblies and air conditioning components with plastic spiral wrap.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 Years experience working on equipment with Military or Aerospace applications and workmanship requirements.
  • Experience with reading and understanding of manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Able to follow written Manufacturing Outlines, policies, and procedures as required.
  • Ability to support requirements in a manufacturing environment requiring quick turnarounds.
  • MANDATORY - or permanent resident (s) due to Government ITAR regulations.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The Air Conditioning/Sheet Metal Assembler reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager. Assemblers are expected to work and coordinate with the Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering departments.
