Job Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid Onsite)

Job description:

Teamcenter + GenAI The ask is for someone who knows GenAI latest models and also has Functional knowledge on PLM (Teamcenter).

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative PLM Consultant with expertise in Teamcenter andGenerative AI (GenAI) to join our digital transformation team. This role requires a unique blend of functional knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), especially Siemens Teamcenter, and hands-on exposure to the latest advancements in GenAI models and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and enhance existing Teamcenter PLM processes using AI-based solutions.
  • Develop use cases and prototypes usingGenerative AI (GenAI) models such as GPT, LLaMA, Claude, or similar, to automate or optimize PLM functions.
  • Design, configure, and customize Teamcenter functionalities aligned with business needs, such as BOM management, workflow, and change management.
  • Leverage GenAI for tasks like intelligent document processing, automated part classification, semantic search, or virtual assistant development within the PLM environment.
  • Work with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to implement innovative AI-augmented solutions that integrate with Teamcenter.
  • Stay current with emerging GenAI technologies and recommend how they can be applied to improve product data management and collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of functional experience inTeamcenter PLM.
  • Strong understanding of core Teamcenter modules: BOM management, Change management, Workflow management, etc.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI/GPT, Hugging Face, LangChain, Azure OpenAI).
  • Ability to identify opportunities and apply GenAI to enhance Teamcenter processes and user experience.
  • Experience with PLM integrations, scripting, and APIs is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Bachelor s or Master s in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Python, REST APIs, or AI/ML pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter Active Workspace.
  • Knowledge of digital twin, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), or digital thread concepts.
  • Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industry.
