Technical Functional Analyst
The Opportunity:

When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development-and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, a knowledgeable test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team implements the best information technology solution.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and testing of a SaaS product, with a particular focus on end-user acceptance, script writing, and testing. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive test scripts for user acceptance testing, ensuring all functionalities of the SaaS product meet the needs and expectations of end-users. You'll identify and document any issues or defects discovered during testing, and work with the development team to resolve them. You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in functional analysis
  • Knowledge of user acceptance testing and test script writing
  • Ability to work with developers and end-users to validate a product's performance and functionality
  • Public Trust
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with SaaS product implementation
  • Knowledge of HR Information Systems/Technology (HRIS/HRIT) in a FedRAMP environment
  • Ability to perform independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
