Job description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to spearhead Salesforce engineering delivery across multiple product lines and agile teams. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem, a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, and proven experience in managing globally distributed development teams.
Skills :
10+ years in software development, with 5+ years in Salesforce platform engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, Triggers, and integration patterns.
Proven ability to lead engineering teams delivering in Agile/SAFe environments.
Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, governor limits, multi-org strategy, and deployment processes.
Experience working in a multi-vendor, global delivery model.
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II, App Builder, and System Architect) are highly desirable.
Responsibilities :
Lead technical delivery across Salesforce clouds and Platform customization
Mentor and guide development teams on coding standards, solution architecture, performance optimization, and reusability.
Oversee the full engineering lifecycle design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Make critical decisions on custom vs. configuration, manage governor limits, and enforce best practices across development.
Ensure proper implementation of Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), Flows, OmniStudio components, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Review solution designs in collaboration with architects to ensure technical scalability and alignment with business goals.
Coordinate across multiple scrum teams (onshore and offshore) to deliver features on time and with high quality.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and Release Managers to align on sprint scope and release cadence.
Lead code reviews, technical workshops, and root cause analysis sessions for production issues.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, Git.
Drive test automation strategies and ensure continuous integration across feature branches and environments.
Monitor and improve deployment quality and rollback strategies.
Explore and introduce new Salesforce capabilities and design patterns.
