Job Details

Job Title: Sr Data Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Type: Full-Time Permanent


Your role:


  • Architect a scalable enterprise data environment aligned to organizational goals.
  • Lead data transformation and migration for NetSuite; design data models, mappings, and integrations with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW).
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured sources using tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Talend, or similar.
  • Create clear dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with teams to define reporting needs, KPIs, and data standards that drive consistent, trusted insights.
  • Perform statistical and trend analyses to inform decisions and evaluate programs.
  • Establish and champion data integrity, quality, and governance across systems.
  • Advise on data and analytics best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to surface strategic insights and improve operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide future data team members as the function grows.


What you ve got:


  • Bachelor s or master s in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in data analysis/analytics with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience in data modeling and warehousing concepts.
  • Hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline development using tools like dbt, Fivetran, Talend, or similar.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
  • Clear communicator who translates technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and presents insights effectively.
  • Self-directed with the ability to set priorities, manage timelines, and deliver independently and collaboratively.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and strong written documentation practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; occasional travel may be required.

Preferred:


  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW).
  • ERP implementation experience and data governance leadership.
  • Team leadership and ability to build and motivate a growing analytics function.
  • Experience in nonprofit or social services environments.
