Description
We are looking for a dedicated IT Support specialist to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will provide first-level technical assistance to both internal and external clients, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in troubleshooting and excellent communication skills.

Pay: $18-22 per hour
Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to internal and external users, addressing a variety of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems by asking detailed questions to understand user needs and determine the most effective solutions.
Research and document recurring technical issues to enhance personal knowledge and contribute to product development initiatives.
Communicate technical solutions clearly and effectively to clients while documenting all interactions accurately and thoroughly.
Support the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of software, including Office 365 applications, internet browsers, and mobile applications.
Maintain and update the internal knowledgebase to improve support processes and share best practices.
Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical expertise and improve service delivery.
Ensure consistent and punctual attendance while adhering to company policy and procedures.
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment.
Previous experience in help desk or technical support is a plus.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook and SharePoint.
Familiarity with Salesforce, mobile application support, and internet browser configuration.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
