RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Senior Director of IT Operations.
Summary:
As the Senior Director of IT Operations and Service, you will lead and optimize enterprise-wide IT operations, ensuring the seamless delivery and continuous improvement of global IT services. This role emphasizes both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership in driving efficiency, service reliability, and technology alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee end-to-end management of IT services globally, including both internally delivered and externally sourced capabilities (SaaS, integration, SAP Basis, patching)
* Lead Service Delivery teams, including the Service Desk and Field Engineering, to ensure world-class support and performance
* Establish and maintain a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework for coordinated service delivery
* Manage IT resources and infrastructure across multiple regions, ensuring scalability, security, and cost optimization
* Oversee full lifecycle management of platforms and applications (SAP, Microsoft, PC, third-party systems), including operational change management, upgrades, and maintenance
* Lead network management efforts across routing, firewalls, and logical network components
* Govern and optimize relationships with operational vendors, ensuring compliance and value delivery
* Define and monitor SLAs, ensuring measurable service excellence and accountability
* Direct technology service management and asset lifecycle programs from acquisition to disposal
* Provide leadership and direction for platform and application management, ensuring stability and innovation
* Collaborate with global teams and partners while maintaining all core IT delivery and support functions onshore - this role does not involve offshoring or relocating core operational teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
* 10+ years of progressive IT operations and service management experience, including leadership of large, distributed teams
* Proven success managing IT operations across global business environments
* Strong knowledge of ITIL practices, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and data center management
* Experience leading both strategic planning and hands-on execution within enterprise environments
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Positive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and innovation

This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
