Description:

The Project Lead will work as part of the IT Project Management Office (PMO), coordinating and supporting one or more projects concurrently. This role involves overseeing project initiation, planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of assigned tasks. The selected candidate will collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently and on schedule.

The Project Lead will assist project managers with documentation, status reporting, technical coordination, and stakeholder communication while helping remove project impediments and ensuring successful implementation of moderate to complex business solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform project coordination and support within the IT PMO for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan, execute, monitor, and close assigned tasks.
  • Provide technical assistance in preparing project plans, schedules, meeting notes, and change requests.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, system analysts, and business analysts to ensure smooth execution of daily activities.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings; track and resolve impediments.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project logistics, documentation, and special assignments.
  • Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination.
  • Assist in developing and executing training and communication plans.
  • Document meeting discussions, action items, and decisions, and distribute updates to relevant parties.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and status updates that provide actionable project insights.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to maintain operational effectiveness.
