About this Position:
Job Title: GIS Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and participate in creation, evaluation, and vendor selection for GIS and IT initiatives.

Lead the planning and execution of a GIS modernization project.

Report on the status of projects and performance of personnel.

Collaborate across departments to improve GIS workflows, data accuracy, and integration with enterprise systems.

Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and vendors through status reports, meetings, and presentations.

Maintain a tracking mechanism to ensure IT investments and projects meet or exceed customer expectations.

Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, including working collaboratively with diverse teams, managing challenging situations with professionalism, and exercising patience and sound judgment.
Required Skills:

Minimum 6 months of experience with implementing an ESRI Utility Network in which the resource demonstrated knowledge of the core functionality of the ESRI Utility Network.

5 years of experience in project management.

5 years of experience with developing proposals and managing the evaluation process.

Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.

Familiarity with surface water, sewer, and water distribution systems, particularly in municipal or utility settings.

Experience with managing vendors during the course of a project.
