Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Snowflake Architect with strong expertise in data integration and migration from SAP S/4HANA to Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines, building efficient data architectures, and ensuring seamless data flow between SAP and Snowflake. This role requires hands-on technical leadership in end-to-end migration projects, including strategy, architecture, performance optimization, and delivery oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
• Lead end-to-end data migration projects from SAP S/4HANA to Snowflake, including planning, design, execution, and validation.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to extract relevant data from SAP tables, CDS views, ODP (Operational Data Provisioning), or SAP Data Services.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Informatica, Matillion, SAP Data Services, Talend, or custom solutions with Python/SQL.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and reconciliation between SAP source and Snowflake target.
• Optimize Snowflake performance by implementing best practices around data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and caching.
• Set up role-based access controls, data governance, and security policies in Snowflake.
• Work with business stakeholders and BI teams to ensure smooth delivery of analytics and reporting use cases.
• Provide technical leadership, documentation, and mentorship to junior data engineers and developers.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall experience in data architecture / data engineering, with 3+ years on Snowflake.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA data models, tables, CDS views, and data extraction techniques.
• Proven track record of S/4HANA to Snowflake data migration projects.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Snowflake-specific development.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Matillion, Talend, or SAP Data Services.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, particularly in the context of Snowflake deployments.
• Experience in designing data models, data lakes, and data marts.
• Familiarity with SAP BW, ODP/ODQ, and SAP SLT is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in data pipelines.

Other Qualifications:

• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Advanced Architect).
• Experience with SAP BODS, SAP HANA Smart Data Integration (SDI), or SAP Cloud Integration tools.
• Background in data analytics, data warehousing, or data lake environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
