Job Type: 2 Year Contract + Possible Extension

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

  • Possession of a bachelor s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years hands-on, operational experience with one or any combination of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Government or Azure Government Clouds.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience migrating applications from on-premises to one or any combination of AWS Government public cloud or Azure Government public cloud utilizing industry best practices.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on, operational experience with Kubernetes and Helm in one or any combination of AWS Government public cloud or Azure Government public cloud.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on, operational experience using Python for one or any combination(s) of automations or integrations in AWS Government public cloud or Azure Government public cloud.

Desired Qualification

  • A Minimum of five (5) years experience in one or any combination(s) listed below:
    1. Leading technical teams in programming application solutions AND / OR
    2. Coaching and training within the AWS Government public cloud AND / OR Azure Government public cloud and consulting regarding on-premises or private cloud application frameworks.

  • A Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on, operational experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) or Operations Automations using Yet Another Markup Language (YAML) in one or any combination(s) from the below list:
    1. Ansible
    2. Terraform
  • Vagran
  • A Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on, operational experience with Continuous Integration / Delivery/Deployment in any combination from the below list:
    1. Jenkins
    2. GitHub Actions
  • GitLab Continuous Integration. This should be experience from the Ops component of DevOps.
