Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday

Duties: Manage large OEM accounts, including communication, engineering support, and providing feedback on market pricing and the value proposition of our solutions. Conduct market research through tradeshows, internet investigation, and corporate services. Support field sales and distributors as needed to maintain the Division's premier customer service position. Assist Territory and Regional Managers in adapting current and new products to customer needs and satisfaction. Provide technical expertise on products to help close final sales and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams in the development of new or revised products based on customer requirements. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace, offering feedback and recommendations to divisions based on competition pricing and market trends. Keep management informed of market changes that could impact the distribution of Parker products and contribute to the development and implementation of response strategies. Participate in customer communication programs and special marketing plans. Develop and initiate product sales strategies related to pricing feedback, life cycles, and forecasting. Create strategic sales plans for existing and adjacent markets for both current and innovative products. Identify market needs for innovative solutions and communicate them to Engineering for product development. Position requires 15% domestic travel.

Requirements: At least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience as a as a Control Systems Engineer, LHP Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related role where experience was gained. Also requires experience in the following:

  • 3 years of experience in Sales, Manufacturing or Engineering experience;
  • 3 years of experience in Technical competence in Fluid Power;
  • 3 years of experience with mobile electrification products, including PMAC motors, inverters, DC-DC converters, and similar components;
  • 3 years of experience with various hydraulic systems, such as open-center and load-sensing systems; and
  • 2 years of experience in working with hydraulic controls using Codesys-based, IQAN, Matlab, or Simulink controllers.
