Job Title: Oracle Global Release Manager
Location: Onshore/ Remote
Job Type: Contract - 6 months + Extension
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IRIS Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IRIS (InterSystems IRIS) solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage Oracle application and database releases across development, test, and production environments.
- Coordinate and execute patching, cloning, and upgrade activities for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
- Collaborate with DBA teams, Oracle functional leads, Managed Services providers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient deployment cycles.
- Administer change control processes and maintain a centralized release calendar.
- Ensure all deployments follow Oracle and ITIL best practices for patching, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Document and maintain detailed, audit-ready release documentation, including change logs, rollback plans, test cases, and release notes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-deployment validation efforts.
- Monitor release execution, identify deployment issues, and coordinate timely resolutions.
Implement and maintain SOX-compliant controls with full traceability and authorization workflows.
Automate repeatable release processes to improve deployment speed and accuracy.
-Serve as the liaison with Oracle Support to troubleshoot and escalate critical application issues.
Requirements:
-6 + years of experience with IRIS development
- Strong knowledge of IRIS features, including ObjectScript, SQL, and data modeling
- Experience with developing scalable and high-performance applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with the Payment services industry
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or Python
- Experience with cloud-based IRIS deployments
- Certification in IRIS development
