Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage strategic transformation initiatives in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end project delivery, particularly involving front-to-back-office systems, and a proven track record of delivering technology and business transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within the financial domain, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met.
- Manage transformation programs involving process improvement, system migrations, regulatory compliance, and automation.
- Coordinate with front, middle, and back-office stakeholders to gather requirements and align project goals with business needs.
- Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams including IT, operations, compliance, finance, and external vendors.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Track and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure robust documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, meeting minutes, and status reports.
- Manage change control processes and support UAT coordination and go-live readiness.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and governance forums.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in project management within the financial services industry (banking, asset management, trading, etc.).
- Strong experience with front-to-back systems (e.g., order management, trade execution, settlement, risk, and accounting systems).
- Proven experience leading transformation projects such as digitalization, system upgrades, or target operating model changes.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Solid stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
