Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to support the cybersecurity architecture, engineering design, and strategic modernization, cybersecurity governance mission. This role requires deep knowledge of NIST frameworks, and emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and quantum computing. The Security Architect will be responsible for designing secure enterprise architectures, developing guidance and white papers, conducting impact analyses, and advising on technical direction for cybersecurity improvements.
Must have Active Top Secret Clearance
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture and system design for federal or defense programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, 800-160, 800-37, and FIPS standards.
- Proven experience conducting Security Architecture Reviews, SIAs, and producing architectural risk assessments.
- Proficiency with tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Tenable, and other enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Experience with Zero Trust Architecture, RMF, and cross-domain solutions (CDS).
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate technical designs into executive-level briefings.
