Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Senior Materials Behavior Engineer to lead the development, testing, characterization, and lifecycle performance evaluation of structural and functional materials across design, manufacturing, and in-service operation. This senior engineering role focuses on polymer matrix composite (PMC) materials testing and characterization and will be responsible for materials engineering project management and the development of material design curves.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute on the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies, or systems that meet business standards and program/product requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to personnel supporting the assigned project.
- Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
- Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives.
- Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.
- Document technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics and 4+ years of experience in materials behavior with emphasis on polymer matrix composites (PMC) testing and characterization.
