Job Details



We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our enterprise IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing mission-critical systems and infrastructure across a complex, multi-site environment. You will take initiatives to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security, including cloud services, servers, storage, virtualization, security, and data centers.


Additional responsibilities are to include, but not limited to, the following:
* Administer and support Windows, Linux, and/or hybrid cloud environments (M365,Azure).
* Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and authentication protocols (SSO, LDAP, Kerberos).
* Oversee system performance tuning, patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
* Implement infrastructure projects including server migrations, hardware/software upgrades, and security audits.
* Implement and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
* Ensure system and data security through hardening, access controls, monitoring, and regular audits.
* Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
* Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
* Provide Tier 3 support and serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
* Collaborate with InfoSec, Applications and networking teams to align system policies with enterprise standards.
* Responsible for managing open-source solutions
* Responsible for Managing Server/Storage/Data center Hardware
* Flexibility to work with Asia/Brazil Time zones
* Other duties and projects as assigned


Qualifications::
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5-8+ years of experience in system administration in large enterprise environments.
* Expertise in managing Windows Server and/or Linux, Kubernetes distributions at scale.
* Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure) and hybrid deployments.
* Certifications such as Microsoft/VMware/RedHat Certified are preferred


Skills:
* Strong Experience in Configuration & Troubleshooting of Linux, Windows 2019/2022 Servers, Kubernetes and VMWare
* Knowledge of scripting/PowerShell, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
* Resolve issues with M365, Email, skype for business, and Mobile device management.
* Working Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN systems, LAN protocols,
* Experience in performing daily tasks like monitoring Backups and Restores of critical data
* Enthusiastic about learning new technologies
* (Problem Solving) Proven ability to contribute to the analysis and fix IT problems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage own time effectively and to be prompt and punctual
* Experience in working effectively within a team and collaborating with others to achieve a goal.
* Demonstrable ability to think around issues and look at the wider picture to provide solutions through a variety of problem-solving techniques.
* Drive, self-motivation, and the ability to work under self-initiative.
