We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Operations Quality Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our operations, focusing on casting, rolling, and finishing technology. You will be tasked with handling multiple projects simultaneously, driving results, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead quality control initiatives and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Utilize your knowledge of aluminum alloys and properties to improve processes and reduce costs.
3. Work closely with the production team to implement quality control measures and ensure consistent product quality.
4. Use your experience with AS400, AARTs, and Minitab to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
5. Handle multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
7. Train and mentor junior team members in quality control techniques and best practices.
8. Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency of our casting, rolling, and finishing technology.
9. Develop and implement quality control documentation, including procedures, standards, and specifications.
10. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring all operations meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 1 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role or similar.
3. Profound knowledge of aluminum alloys and their properties is a plus.
4. Experience with AS400, AARTs, and Minitab preferred.
5. Working knowledge of casting, rolling, and finishing technology.
6. Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments concurrently and be results-driven.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
10. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
11. Proven track record in improving operational quality and efficiency.
12. Familiarity with industry regulatory standards and quality control methodologies.
