Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve program and system malfunctions to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assist users and staff with technical issues related to software malfunctions and system performance.

  • Test, monitor, and maintain computer programs and systems, including installation and configuration.

  • Integrate and coordinate computer systems across the organization to enhance compatibility and data sharing.

  • Analyze information processing needs and design efficient computer systems using structured analysis, data modeling, and information engineering techniques.

  • Collaborate with management to align system design with business goals and operational principles.

  • Define system inputs, outputs, and the distribution of data for effective utilization of results.

  • Modify or enhance systems to support new requirements and improve workflow efficiency.

  • Train end users and staff on computer systems, applications, and best practices.

  • Evaluate and adapt pre-developed software packages to meet user and business requirements.

  • Research emerging technologies and review technical publications to improve system capabilities.

  • Develop, document, and update system design, test procedures, and quality assurance standards.

  • Create detailed flowcharts and diagrams outlining logical processes and operational steps.

  • Work closely with clients to understand business needs and translate them into system or software requirements.

  • Conduct interviews, surveys, and workflow analyses to identify information processing methods and optimization opportunities.
