Who We Are
Nuro is a self-driving technology company on a mission to make autonomy accessible to all. Founded in 2016, Nuro is building the world's most scalable driver, combining cutting-edge AI with automotive-grade hardware. Nuro licenses its core technology, the Nuro Driver , to support a wide range of applications, from robotaxis and commercial fleets to personally owned vehicles. With technology proven over years of self-driving deployments, Nuro gives the automakers and mobility platforms a clear path to AVs at commercial scale-empowering a safer, richer, and more connected future.
About the TeamThe Prototype and Development Engineer team interfaces with the Fabrication, Engineering and the Prototype Manufacturing teams by leading the prototype builds into inception. The team ensures all team members are certified and trained such as IPC/WHNA-A-620 with attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a solid grasp of electrical systems are key traits for success in this field. You will communicate extensively with the fabrication and engineering teams to confirm and validate the prototypes.
About the RoleOur Prototype/Manufacturing team is growing and we are looking for a Prototype Development Engineer specializing in Harnessing that can establish a pathway to create, develop and assemble various harnesses. The engineer should be able to work with different types of electrical instruments already on the vehicle and incorporate different sensors, lidars, radars and electrical boards to help power the vehicle. The engineer will lead and assist the technicians for the prototype builds and provide feedback to help improve quality, reliability, serviceability, and cost.
