Job Description:-

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain current NetApp code levels and perform system upgrades as required
  • Ensure host compatibility with ONTAP versions prior to performing ONTAP upgrades
  • Perform daily storage allocation, cleanup, and troubleshooting activities
  • Monitor NetApp arrays for capacity and performance issues; propose and implement solutions
  • Open and manage vendor support cases; act as the primary point of contact (POC) for support issues
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for:
    • NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights (DII)
    • NetApp Workload Factory
    • ONTAP and FSxN (Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP)
  • Configure, upgrade, and optimize DII and Workload Factory environments
  • Support FSxN monitoring, alerting, capacity management, and performance troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with SRE teams to develop and maintain Golden Signals dashboards
  • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor and report on configuration drift
  • Provide guidance on alerting thresholds and configuration standards
  • Implement performance upgrades for DII and Workload Factory
  • Design and develop Cost Savings Dashboards for AWS and FSxN environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP and FSxN
  • Proven expertise with NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights (DII) and Workload Factory
  • Experience monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and performance tuning in NetApp environments
  • Familiarity with AWS, especially FSx for NetApp ONTAP
  • Experience working with SRE teams and dashboard development
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex storage and performance issues
  • Strong communication skills and experience acting as a vendor liaison
  • Ability to work independently in an onsite enterprise environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience building cost optimization or financial dashboards for cloud/storage environments
  • Prior experience supporting Dell or large enterprise storage environments
