Job Title: M365 Administrator Location: Onsite Plano, TX 75024 Duration: 12 Months
Role Overview
The M365 Administrator will be responsible for administration, troubleshooting, automation, and governance of Microsoft 365 services in a large enterprise environment. The role requires excellent expertise across M365 workloads, strong scripting capabilities, cross-team collaboration, and proactive adaptation to evolving Microsoft product updates.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Microsoft 365 platform services including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Yammer, Viva, Stream, Office apps
Analyze and resolve issues independently with end-to-end ownership of technical troubleshooting
Manage escalated issues including opening and coordinating cases with Microsoft
Perform SharePoint and Azure AD app registrations
Develop and troubleshoot automation solutions using PowerShell scripts for:
SharePoint
Teams
Exchange
M365 Groups
Azure AD
Licensing
Support and maintain the Power Platform
Stay current with Microsoft announcements for M365 updates; recommend/design action plans for tenant impact
Support migrations from file shares or legacy environments to SharePoint Online/Teams/OneDrive using tools such as ShareGate and SPMT
Maintain documentation, governance standards, and process improvements across tenant services
Participate in Agile Scrum delivery workflows, maintaining sprint commitments and collaboration
Provide after-hours support as needed for critical issues
Communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders and provide high-quality service
Required Skills
Excellent hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 Suite
Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture-level understanding
2+ years of Microsoft Teams administration
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
Hands-on administration with Azure AD, Exchange Online, M365 Groups
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
Strong communication, problem solving, and user-facing skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
Desirable Skills
Support L2/L3 incidents and service requests
Design and implement improvements and automation for M365 services
Experience working in large distributed teams
