for W2 Candidates

11+ years of experience in overall software testing, test automation for small to large automation projects

Minimum 5 years of experience in Design and Development of test automation frameworks for various technological landscapes for desktop, web and mobile applications. Frameworks should include distributed applications and test tools (Automation, Test management, Continuous Integrations etc.)

Worked as a test automation architect past last 2 years

Provided consulting services to provide test automation solution and advise right-fit test automation tool sets and design and implementation approach.

Detail oriented and good analytical, problem-solving skills.

Worked in Agile and traditional SDLCs like waterfall models etc.

Provided technical insights for automation accelerators, tool enhancements.

Work closely with business in identifying requirements and build case-studies/scenarios for the solution.

Lead implementation of the test plan/strategy from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"/steady state/CoE

Participate in the full cycle of pre-sales activities: direct communications with potential customers, RFP processing, development of proposals for implementation and design of the solution, presentation of the proposed solution to a customer, participation in meetings with customer representatives.

Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud, mobile, big data and IoT testing.

Act as a career coach, mentor future leaders

Hands-on current experience authoring, building and adopting large scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration, database levels.

Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (Keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid)

Worked with test automation tools such as UFT, TestComplete, Selenium, Serenity, TOSCA, Playwright, Ranorex, Appium, Mobile test automation tools.

Worked on various technology stacks (Java, .NET. AngularJS, ReactJS, Andriod, iOS)

Worked on various languages Java, C#, JavaScript, Python

Worked on various traditional databases such as Oracle, MS-SQL and non-traditional databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.

Worked on development tools such as JIRA, VSTS, Microsoft Test Manager, QAComplete, MicroFocus ALM

Ability to develop custom test automation methodologies and adapt them to clients' technology and business requirements.

Integrate test automation into CI/CD process and instrument full SDLC automation, specifically cloud testing execution, reporting tools such as ALM, Jira

Improve process and quality via test and process automation: defining right strategy and technology based on process and architecture assessment by engaging different roles and stakeholders.

Experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service (API) testing (TestComplete, UFT, Ranorex, Selenium, Kat
