RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounting & Property Management Systems Manager in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the full lifecycle project management of process & change management across Accounting & related applications including project management of deployment, configuration, integration, maintenance, and support
* Directly manage and lead Accounting application-related projects, including upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and new implementations, with a focus on integrations
* Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans for application upgrades and implementations across the organization, ensuring user adoption and minimizing disruption; This includes communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder management
* Establish and enforce robust process management frameworks for application upgrades, testing, and integration to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance
* Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across all departments (e.g., Real Estate/Property Management, Accounting, Operations) to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology solutions
* Manage vendor relationships for application software and related services, ensuring service level agreements are met and value is maximized
* Conduct regular audits and implement necessary controls to interact with external auditors to provide appropriate IT and financial reports as needed
* Support strategic initiatives and projects that impact the organization's technology landscape
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, processes, and support procedures
* Monitor application performance and system stability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and security standards related to enterprise applications
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Certifications (ITIL, PMP, CCNA) highly desirable
* Significant (5+ years) of experience in Accounting application management or a related role
* Demonstrable experience implementing enterprise-wide application change management and process management for enterprise applications
* Experience in a public company, SOX audit is highly desirable
* Knowledge of industry regulations and security standards including IT-related controls at a public company
* Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and ITIL practices
* Strong project management skills, including experience with project management methodologies
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide stakeholders
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building strong relationships at all levels of the organization
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Analytical thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
* Highly organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
* Proactive and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Adaptable and open to new technologies and approaches
* Proven ability to manage complex application landscapes
* Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
* Audit experience is a plus
* Real estate application experience with Yardi, or similar is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
