Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Developer - II
Long-term!W2 Contract
Location :- Irving TX & Basking Ridge NJ (Hybrid)

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and automate financial reporting processes. You will develop BI solutions that support the Finance department and other teams reliant on financial data, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:
    • Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions for financial reporting and analysis.
    • Analyze internal data to identify opportunities for data products and reporting solutions.
    • Lead automation initiatives for financial reporting using tools like Qlik, ThoughtSpot, Looker, Gemini, Knime, Alteryx, and Google Workspace apps.
    • Provide deep analysis of financial data including revenue, expenses, profitability, and customer trends.
    • Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to understand needs and deliver scalable, automated reporting solutions.
    • Establish best practices for dashboards, visualizations, and self-service analytics.
    • Work closely with data product teams to define and communicate data requirements.
    • Stay updated on BI trends and implement innovative solutions.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams to address reporting needs and improve methodologies.
    • Define KPIs, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects.


    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 4+ years of experience in BI development, data analysis, and reporting.
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Teradata and BigQuery.
    • Experience developing datasets and dashboards using Qlik or Looker.
    • Proficiency in at least two of the following: Knime, Alteryx, Python, Google Apps Script, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in finance or a data-related discipline.
    • Experience driving adoption of self-service analytics platforms.
    • Strong understanding of BI disciplines including data engineering, visualization, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
    • Experience with modern data warehouses and cloud technologies.
    • Familiarity with telecom data sets (Wireline, Wireless, Network).
    • Proven ability to drive change and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of advanced technologies such as ML integrations, Hadoop, Hive, and cloud platforms.
