Description: Grafana Technical Product Owner

About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Owner with strong experience in business systems analysis and product ownership, particularly in observability platforms like Grafana. This role will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions that align with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Define and manage the product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead testing, implementation, and deployment of new or enhanced systems.
- Develop detailed technical specifications for custom development and system integration.
- Ensure alignment of technical roadmaps with product vision and business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting for users.
- Communicate project progress, performance metrics, and cost implications to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement through governance refinement and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in technical product ownership or business systems analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep understanding of software development, cloud infrastructure, and technical architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana and observability tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience creating technical documentation, process maps, and flowcharts.
- Familiarity with project management and governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to drive product strategy and align technology with business goals.
- You guide cross-functional teams with clarity and purpose.
- You proactively identify and resolve technical and business challenges.
- You foster transparency and alignment across product and engineering teams.
