Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Technician II to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position that involves a mix of hands-on technical support and network administration. The ideal candidate will travel between multiple sites daily, providing exceptional end-user support while also contributing to network-related projects.
Responsibilities:
Travel to various locations daily to address end-user and equipment-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including issues with Windows-based operating systems.
Provide support for Office 365 and other web-based applications.
Build, configure, and service network equipment to maintain system integrity.
Handle tickets in the PeopleSoft system, ensuring they are resolved efficiently or assigned to the appropriate team.
Assist with network administration tasks, including working on network-related projects.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong communication with end users.
Perform maintenance on networked computer systems, servers, and storage hardware.
Lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
Support the implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco technologies, including routers and firewalls.
Requirements
Strong understanding of network administration principles, including system access and security procedures.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting complex computer systems in networked environments.
Familiarity with Cisco technologies, including routers, ASA firewalls, and Checkpoint systems.
Proficiency in Office 365 and Windows-based operating systems.
Knowledge of datacenter operations and backup technologies.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and adapt to learning new tools and processes.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle for daily travel.
Physical ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
