Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Help Desk Technician with 2+ years of experience to provide technical support to end-users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving service requests, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and basic networking issues.
Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
Document issues and solutions in the help desk knowledge base.
Escalate unresolved issues to IT staff when necessary.
Support onboarding/offboarding processes including equipment setup and recovery.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshservice, ServiceNow).
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting remote users and basic VPN troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Active Directory and basic user management.
Understanding of IT support best practices and customer service principles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
