Job Description:
Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr
  • We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on user experience, data integrity, and system performance.
  • The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Salesforce development, Experience Cloud, integrations, and modern DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Build client-first features on Salesforce using LWC, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and platform APIs with a focus on clarity, performance, and maintainability.
  • Deliver an outstanding Experience Cloud donor portal with secure, personalized self-service options such as profile management and contribution flows.
  • Develop reliable integrations (REST/Bulk APIs, middleware) to connect Salesforce with enterprise systems for seamless data and workflows.
  • Implement modern DevOps practices using Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, CI/CD tools, automated testing, and code reviews.
  • Apply Salesforce Well-Architected principles for security, performance, data quality, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with UX, Product, and Client Services teams to identify user pain points and rapidly iterate on effective solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and document technical designs, ADRs, and user guides.
  • Maintain strong quality standards through testing, monitoring, and design for scalability and reliability.
  • Ensure secure development practices and compliance with data protection and access control requirements.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases (Data Cloud, AI/Agentforce, FSC, Experience Cloud) to enhance donor journeys and reduce operational complexity.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with strong delivery in LWC (front-end) and Apex/integration (back-end).
  • Proven Experience Cloud implementation for external user portals; nonprofit or financial services experience preferred.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD using Salesforce DX, DevOps Center, and Git-based systems.
  • Expertise in system integration (REST/Bulk APIs; Boomi or MuleSoft preferred).
  • Applied knowledge of Salesforce Well-Architected principles and modern Apex patterns.
Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving ability able to decompose complex client challenges into simple, actionable deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Client-centric mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and fast iteration.
  • Technical proficiency in LWC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, Platform Events, OAuth, Git, DevOps Center, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, and testing frameworks.
