What We're Looking For:

7+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Extensive expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including:

o Cisco Catalyst Switches (9300, 9400, 9500, 9600 series): Deep understanding of their features, configuration, and troubleshooting.

o Cisco Nexus platforms: Proven experience in data center environments.

o Strong command-line interface (CLI) skills for configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting are essential.

o Routing Protocols: Expert-level knowledge of EIGRP and BGP.

o VRF-lite: Experience in extending security segments throughout the network.

o Cisco Wireless (basic support): Ability to verify trunking and basic connectivity for wireless access points (Note: This role does not involve Wireless Controller modification or RF troubleshooting).

Proficient with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including:

o Panorama: Extensive experience in centralized management, policy deployment, and troubleshooting.

o Strong understanding of firewall concepts, security policies, NAT, and VPNs.

Direct experience with IPAM platforms, specifically BlueCat, for IP address and DNS management.

Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds and Cisco Catalyst Center.

Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management platforms for ticket management.

Proven experience working in an Agile development environment, using JIRA.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment supporting critical business operations.

Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE) are highly valued.
