Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant (SME) to lead process optimization and configuration efforts across our core NetSuite platform. This is a key role that bridges business needs with system capability working across departments such as Finance, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to maximize NetSuite s value.
You will serve as a strategic partner to business and technology teams, enabling operational excellence through effective system configuration (non-code), process alignment, and user enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
Serve as the go-to expert for NetSuite functionality across departments
Configure and optimize core NetSuite modules including:
oFinancials (GL, AR, AP)
oOrder-to-Cash (OTC)
oProcure-to-Pay (P2P)
oInventory, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
oCRM or Project Management (as applicable)
Support strategic roadmap planning, risk management, and platform scalability
Enablement & Optimization
Lead efforts to fully leverage existing NetSuite features
Assist in financial reporting, month-end close, GL maintenance, procurement workflows, and form configurations
Conduct data validation/cleanup and support timely, accurate reporting
Enhance reporting tools, streamline workflows, and document business processes
Governance & Collaboration
Oversee NetSuite operational integrity, enhancements, and user access
Provide advisory support to the Information Services team and business units
Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure system alignment with business needs
Drive QA and governance best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of NetSuite functional experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation
Strong experience with cross-functional collaboration across finance, sales, operations
Familiarity with NetSuite OneWorld, multi-subsidiary, and/or multi-currency environments
Key Functional & Technical Skills
Requirement gathering, gap analysis, and NetSuite solution mapping
Expertise with:
oSaved Searches, Dashboards, and KPIs
oSuiteFlow (workflow configuration)
oRoles & Permissions management
oNetSuite compliance standards (e.g., SOX, ASC 606)
Tools: NetSuite SuiteAnalytics, Report Builder, CSV Imports, Mass Updates
Understanding of third-party integrations (Salesforce, eCommerce, payroll, etc.)
Experience with sandbox management and release cycles
Soft Skills & Work Ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Skilled in training, documentation, and UAT facilitation
Highly organized with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Certifications
NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant
NetSuite Certified Administrator
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project/process certifications
