Job Description:
- Conversion Programmer that assists with the conversion of deposit accounts and customers into Hogan IDS and CIS. The full conversion process: ingesting various files, working with analyst to perform data analysis, running conversion programs to load data, and production merge processes.
- 5+ years of development experience on EasyTrieve. EasyTrieve is used heavily in the conversion process for data analysis (reports) and data transformation and can be hundreds of lines of code per program. A key part of the bank's proprietary process and methodology that has been built over the years on EasyTrieve. This is the hardest skill to find and therefore the most important requirement.
- 10+ years of Hogan IDS deposits development experience including COBOL/JCL and/or Hogan CIS. Need to understand files and job flows.
- Conversion experience is ideal. The bank uses Moskowitz code for the account conversion piece, but understanding the data mapping process in any environment.
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. Conversion work can ebb-and-flow depending on where we are in the conversion process.
- Communication is important to understand mapping requirements and asking questions when clarification is needed
