RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Centennial, CO.
Responsibilities:
* Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations
* Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems
* Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues
* Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables
* Gathers refines, and validates complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks, and issues
* Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions
* Assists in the business process design or redesign and documentation as needed; Create business process flows in Visio
* Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications; Manage change from start to finish with an SDLC process led by Jira
* Facilitates communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies
* Develops complex business cases
* Works on multiple projects as a project team member, at times as a project leader
* May coach and mentor less experienced staff
* Assists with facilitating project governance and corporate priorities
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years of experience
* In-depth knowledge of business requirements and corporate priorities
* Advanced ability to gather/refine complex business requirements, recommend or make decisions on business requirements/interdependencies
* Advanced ability to develop complex business cases
* Advanced ability to create impact analyses to make recommendations
* Advanced ability to present complex positions and strategies for business decisions, processes, and plans
* In-depth knowledge of compliance principles. Knowledge of ITIL.
* In-depth understanding of business architecture and its relationship to other architectures
* Advanced ability to assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management
* Communication: Ability to communicate in a concise manner adapting detail to the audience
* Critical thinking: Each next step is not always outlined, and need the ability to think critically to determine the best path forward
* Problem-solving: Possess the determination to identify and solve complex problems
* Negotiation: Ability to articulate the value in your conviction to influence outcomes
* Attention to detail: Project artifacts, communications, and meeting recordings are maintained for documentation, and also used as examples of quality work
* Teamwork: Collaboration helps everyone reach their goals
* Self-starter: Possess the drive to identify work that needs to be done
Experience with:
* JIRA
* Confluence (Chalk)
* MS Project
* MS Office
* Visio
* Cherwell or ServiceNow
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
