Senior iOS Engineer
Job Details
Position: Senior iOS Engineer
Location: New York City - Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver new features for a large?scale, consumer?facing iOS application
- Break down product requirements into clear, actionable engineering tasks
- Write clean, well?tested, maintainable Swift code
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to drive product vision
- Review code, provide feedback, and support teammates to ensure high engineering quality
- Identify issues, debug complex problems, and proactively improve application performance
- Contribute to engineering best practices, tooling, and process improvements within the team
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years focused on iOS development
- Strong expertise in Swift and experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
- Solid understanding of iOS architectural patterns, ideally MVVM
- Experience building high?quality, production?ready iOS applications with robust testing practices
- Ability to work onsite in NYC three days per week with a cross?functional client team
- Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive user experiences
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and teamwork, with a willingness to learn and adapt
